About Forest Edge Music Festival

Presented by CYC Ministries, the Forest Edge Music Festival is an all-ages, drug and alcohol free, live music event held on the March Labour Day Weekend annually at Forest Edge CYC in Gippsland, Victoria, Australia. Supported by Christian Youth Camps Ltd and the Christian Community Churches of Victoria, FEMF sees hundreds of young people come together, live in community for the weekend, and listen to some great artists and bands.

Schools Tour

In the week leading up to FEMF2016, two of our amazing artists, Tasman Jude and Germein Sisters, will be joining us to do a schools tour.

Working in partnership with a number of Youth Groups, we're aiming to visit as many schools as possible.

We know that there are hundreds of young people who can't make it to the festival itself, so this is our way of taking a bit of the festival to them.

Speakers

We're thrilled to have a great range of speakers at Forest Edge Music Festival 2016. In addition to the artists and bands, there will be a number of workshops across the weekend, as well as the church service on the Sunday morning.

Josiah Conner

A big part of FEMF is the church service on the Sunday morning, and we're pleased to have Josiah Conner as our guest speaker for 2016. Josiah is the Youth Pastor of CityLife Church. CityLife Church is based in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne but has multiple locations across Melbourne. He loves good coffee, basketball, surfing and talking about Jesus.

Artist Development

A number of Artist Development Workshops will be a part of FEMF2016 - More details to come soon.

Festival Highlights

There is much more to the festival than just the music...

The Village

The Village is the central hub of the festival. With the focal point of the Village Stage, there are also a number of stall holders and food vendors. It is also the location of the FEMF Store; the place to satisfy all your festival and band merch desires.

FEMF Has Talent

A highlight of the festival every year is our annual FEMF Has Talent. This competition is open to all the Youth Groups attending to enter either solo or group acts. The winning act from FEMF Has Talent will get to perform on the LightFM MainStage on the Sunday night.

Youth Group Sports Comp

Youth Groups may also enter teams into our annual sports competition. This has proved very popular every year, and we have something special in store for 2016 - More details soon!

Activities

Whilst listening to music 24/7 might be some people's cup of tea, we know that some may want to cram more into their day. FEMF2016 will have a number of activities on offer from high action through to quiet and creative.

Church

A big part of FEMF is the church service on the Sunday morning, and we're pleased to have Josiah Conner as our guest speaker for 2016. Along with a time of worship with music provided by a variety of festival artists, this is a great time for us all to come together on the Sunday morning.

Reflection/Prayer

Forest Edge is a great place to step back from the hectic nature of life and reflect. We're being very intentional about FEMF2016, to make sure that away from the activiy and noise, we create spaces for conversations, reflection and prayer. Spaces for people to explore questions of faith. More info to come...

Tickets

There are a variety of ways to come to the festival, from individual tickets through to Youth Group and Family packages.

*Evening car pass is only available for pre-purchase here.
*All other day/evening passes are only available at the gate.

General Admission

Our standard weekend pass includes entry to the festival and camping for the full weekend. Don't wait for the gate - cheaper to pre-purchase!

Youth Groups

In addition to discounted prices, dedicated camping area and specific elements of the program just for Youth Groups, our current Youth Group package (through until October 31st) also includes Leaders for free!

Young Adults

Got a group together but don't quite fit into the Youth Group mould? Young Adults Groups, Small Groups, Extended Family Groups - Chat to us about tailoring a package to suit your group.

Families

Our Family packages for 2016 include a separate camping area away from the noise, as well as some other additions to make things a bit more comfortable for parents and children alike.
